Established within the MCC framework, the Dr. Ashok Da. Ranade Archives (ADRA) officially opened its doors in 2014, with the distinguished singer Shubha Mudgal presiding over the inauguration. This archive proudly houses the literary works, audio-visual archives, and personal library of the renowned scholar-musician, Dr. Ashok Da. Ranade, with the aim of safeguarding his broad intellectual legacy. Dr. Ranade’s 50-year journey in ethnomusicology has resulted in a meticulously curated collection of diverse and rare materials. ADRA is committed to the preservation and digitalization of this invaluable resource, enriching the accessibility of performing arts-related materials for students, researchers, and artists alike.
