MCC’s Visual Arts wing was started back in 2005 with the inauguration of ‘Sudarshan Kaladalan’ at the hands of renowned visual artist Mr. Atul Dodiya. ‘Kaladalan’ represents MCC’s ongoing commitment to make various art forms accessible to the general audience and has succeeded in creating significant awareness and interest in the field of visual arts. The division has organized numerous lectures, discussions, and demonstrations led by eminent artists such as Sudhir Patwardhan, Madhuri Purandare, Suhas Bahulkar, and Prabhakar Kolte. It has also hosted exhibitions featuring artists like Vasant Abaji Dahake, Uma Virupaksha Kulkarni, and Mangesh Kale. Additionally, the Visual Arts wing has conducted screenings of films related to visual arts and artists.The wing is flourishing presently under the visionary leadership of Mr. Pramod Kale and Dr. Nitin Hadap.
