Guru Shama Bhate is the visionary leader par excellence of the MCC dance wing. The Maharashtra Cultural Centre Collaboration with Shama tai ‘Nadroop” enables the dancers of Pune to think of some activities which would be otherwise unthinkable.

The Maharashtra Cultural Centre and Nadroop collaboration regularly organises various events every year. There are lecture demonstrations, seminars, workshops, viewing together sessions of video films of great masters and great choreographies followed by discussions.

Padmashree Astad Deboo and Padmabhushan Dr. Kanak Rele have conducted intense and enlightening workshopsfor MCC.
The MCC and Nadroop collaboration also gave birth to the critically acclaimed festival ‘Sansmaran- spreading light through Rohinijis spirit’ under the leadership of Guru. Shama Bhate. The first sansmaran was in honour of Mohanrao Kallianpurkar and was very well received.
